Troubleshooting

Fast checks for install, vault, connector, model routing, release, and diagnostics issues.

Google OAuth And Integrations

  • Reconnect from Settings → Integrations and confirm the browser completes the local desktop OAuth flow.
  • Retry one source type at a time and reduce the ingest window if Gmail, Calendar, or Docs import fails.
  • For Docs import, select Drive folders explicitly or paste folder URLs or IDs.

Local Vault Setup

  • Use the default vault unless you need a custom location.
  • Choose a local user-owned folder for release testing, not a synced or managed folder.
  • Retry imports with a small text or Markdown file before testing PDF or DOCX files.

Model Routing

  • Local deterministic mode works without external accounts.
  • OpenAI requires a configured API key.
  • Claude CLI and Codex CLI require installed and authenticated local CLIs.

Signed macOS Builds

  • Build releases from a checkout outside synced folders.
  • Use signing and notarization flags only for signed release builds.
  • If signing fails, clean extended attributes and rebuild.

Revoke, Purge, Export, Delete

  • Revoke disconnects Google access.
  • Purge removes local Google-derived sources from Work Memory.
  • Export snapshot creates a portable Work Memory JSON snapshot.
  • Delete source removes the imported source and its memory copy from the local vault.
