iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Sphere creators can delete Spheres with a choice of how to handle their content.
  • Sphere deletion now extends to associated channels and guest copies.
  • Share Spheres mirrored through personal device sync.

Desktop

  • The Sphere tree remembers expanded branches, with its lens control moved to the bottom.
  • Available machine changes appear in desktop composers while machine names stay intact.
  • Microphone setup recovers more reliably during onboarding.

Companion Sync

  • Synced messages retain their chronological order.
  • Completed responses are preserved across device sync, while partial responses stay on the originating device.

Reliability

  • Queued channel and collaboration work recovers after offline restarts.
  • Sphere archive requests recover after timeouts, with fixes for retained archives and roll-ups.
  • Slack avoids creating reminders from incidental time references.
