iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Desktop

  • Sphere navigation remembers expanded branches and places the lens at the bottom.
  • Sphere creators can delete Spheres with a choice of what happens to their content.
  • Machine changes appear in desktop composers while saved machine names stay intact.
  • Microphone recovery during onboarding is more reliable.

Companion Sync

  • Synced conversations preserve message order and completed responses.
  • Partial responses stay local to the device generating them.
  • Spheres mirrored through personal device sync can now be shared.
  • Sphere deletion carries through to associated channels and guest copies.

Reliability

  • Queued channel and collaboration work recovers more reliably after offline restarts.
  • Saved Slack work resumes after catch-up.
  • Timed-out Sphere archive requests can recover, with fixes for retained archives and Sphere roll-ups.
