iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Create shared Spaces, invite people, and use replies, reactions, and conversation search.
  • Browse beside each conversation with multiple tabs, a separate window option, and page annotations you can send into chat.
  • Choose Ollama or Apple Intelligence during onboarding, or use Auto to select eligible models with your preferences and provider limits.

Desktop

  • Access Space and channel actions through right-click menus with keyboard navigation.
  • Rename threads, keep your reading position as messages arrive, and jump to the latest conversation content.
  • Dictate prompts with clearer recording controls and improved microphone permission handling.
  • Manage account details in a dedicated Settings tab and customize notification preferences.

Companion Sync

  • Pair devices with persistent codes, native copy controls, and clearer connection status.
  • Keep Space read state in sync across devices and recover paired conversation delivery more reliably.

Reliability

  • Start working sooner while saved history loads, with better responsiveness during Slack catch-up.
  • Recover Space invitations and interrupted syncing more reliably while preserving newer edits and conflict drafts.
  • Resume Slack catch-up after rate limits and keep Discord channels available when thread discovery fails.
  • Untrusted Markdown images stay unloaded until you choose to open them.
