iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Collaborate in Spaces with invitations, replies, reactions, conversation search, and synced read state.
  • Browse beside your conversation with multiple tabs, a separate window option, and page annotations you can share in chat.
  • Use Auto model selection with provider preferences, model exclusions, and usage limits.

Desktop

  • Find account controls in a dedicated Settings tab and access Space and channel actions with right-click menus.
  • Rename threads, jump to the latest messages, and keep your reading position as conversations update.
  • Dictate prompts with clearer recording controls and setup guidance, plus fixes for microphone permissions and silent input.
  • Manage notifications from an inbox and choose whether macOS notifications appear while ThinkOS is focused.

Companion Sync

  • Pair from desktop with persistent codes, native copy controls, and clearer connection status.
  • Keep pairing controls stable during background checks and a new code visible after the first phone connects.

Reliability

  • Space messages save locally with a visible pending state while delivery catches up.
  • Recover more reliably from interrupted Space sync and invitations while preserving newer edits and thread deletions.
  • Review Space conflicts in a dedicated conversation and retain conflict drafts through refreshes.
  • Start working sooner as the desktop loads before full conversation history.
