iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Desktop

  • Dictate prompts in regular and Space conversations with active recording controls and clearer setup guidance.
  • Manage notification preferences and dismiss items from the desktop notification inbox.
  • Create, edit, run, and delete routines from conversations, including authenticated webhook triggers.
  • See branch and line changes in coding conversations, switch machines in existing threads, and keep working through longer provider turns.

Companion Sync

  • Keep Space read state, notification preferences, conversations, messages, reactions, replies, and deletions consistent across connected devices.
  • Create Spaces without waiting for sync, while background recovery preserves changes made during interruptions or reconnects.
  • Receive more dependable collaboration notifications through durable, encrypted delivery.

Reliability

  • Conversation scrolling now better preserves your reading position and intent as new messages arrive or you switch conversations.
  • Attachments and image previews remain available more reliably during active conversations and after synchronization.
  • Settings, credentials, collaboration data, and file changes recover more safely from concurrent updates, stale locks, interrupted sessions, and key rotation.
  • Update settings now show clearer progress and provide improved controls for checking and installing releases.
