iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

  • Dictate prompts in Orbit and Spaces with recording controls and clearer setup feedback.
  • Use Auto to choose models for desktop and cloud work, with provider usage limits and routing preferences.

  • Keep your reading position as conversations update, and jump to the latest messages when ready.
  • Switch computers within existing threads and edit or delete routines from the thread drawer.
  • Manage alerts through a notification inbox with dismissal and granular preferences.
  • Get simpler first-run setup and customize your Chief of Staff's name and appearance.

Reliability

  • Keep Space read status and encrypted notification preferences in sync across devices.
  • Receive more reliable direct-message, task-completion, and cloud-ready notifications.
  • See image attachments more reliably during active conversations.
  • Recover more reliably from interrupted sync, cloud setup, and account sign-out.
