iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Create human-only Space conversations, invite participants, and post messages from the desktop.
  • Hand off work to agents with @mentions and see which agent authored a response.
  • Get started with fewer setup steps, then click your Chief of Staff's avatar to change its name or appearance.

Desktop

  • Choose your approval mode at the first consequential action, with clearer explanations for system permission requests.
  • Access account controls from the lens rail, with all Orbit lenses enabled by default and your configured order respected.
  • Dropping a folder into the Workbench composer no longer triggers a folder-read error.
  • Provider CLI updates reuse an existing update conversation across releases.

Reliability

  • Synchronize multiple Spheres more efficiently.
  • Better preserve shared message history and enforce Space participation permissions during sync.
  • Improve recovery for settings and secret changes after interruptions or simultaneous updates.
  • Companion retries more reliably preserve completed changes without repeating them.
